Our track is designed primarily for 1/10 2WD and 4WD buggies all running on 2S lipos with reverse DISABLED.
Our timing gear uses Infra Red transponders (IRace or TAWRCCC).
These need to be mounted in the bodyshell with the IR transmitter visible either through a hole in the bodywork or clear panel.

While high end race buggies are very popular Tamiya and RTR cars are welcome at our track.
TAWRCCC is not about chequebook racing it is about having fun and enjoying the hobby at whatever level you race at.

If you need help or advice about car choice and setup we will be on hand to help make the best choice for you.

Our track is a low grip surface favouring 4WD cars over 2WD.  The key to speed is finding grip so a hot motor isn’t necessarily the best choice…
A decent ride height, block spiked tyres with light oil in the dampers and soft springs is a good starting point.

Car choice is down to the individual but we have learned you do get what you pay for.
The high end cars are designed using stronger materials, are a generally more durable and offer a lot of setup options.
Ready to Run cars are getting a lot better but offer little in upgrades and tuning options.
Tamiya cars have got a lot better in recent years, using stronger plastics than before and have excellent spares and tuning backup.

Here’s a list of a few cars we recommend for different budgets…
