NDMS RACERS EVERY TUESDAY FROM 6.30 -10 PM
Indoor racing takes place at Fremington Parish Hall every Tuesday from 6.30-10 PM and is run by ‘NDMS RACERS’.
Due to the size of the venue we race Carisma GT24D2.0 cars. After a lot of testing we found these best suit the venue.
The drift spec cars are a lot of fun to drive and allow us to develop our car control skills on the slippery surface of the hall floor.
Join us and enjoy the racing all year round.
We use the IRace transponder system for lap timing. These are available from www.kamtec.co.uk we can supply leads at a cost to connect the transponder into your car. The transponder is infra red and needs clear line of site to the gantry above the track. So you will need to drill a hole in your bodyshell for the signal.
To give you an idea of race preparation and a typical race night here’s a video.
All drivers must be members of the ‘North Devon Model Society’. (£10 / year pro rata)
Race fee £2
ALL DRIVERS MUST HAVE PROOF OF FULL, CURRENT BRCA & NDMS MEMBERSHIP IN ORDER TO RACE.
Details of BRCA membership can be found here – BRCA
You can view the 2025 BRCA handbook HERE
These are some of the typical track layouts we use. Space is at a premium but racing is very cheap and a lot of fun.
Grip is always an issue but it teaches a lot about setup and car control. Help and advice is always freely given.
