Our track is situated in the grounds of The Park Community School, Barnstaple. EX32 9AX and is now visible on Google Maps.
It has been built as a community project with the help of local businesses and volunteers and
has been landscaped to be a great place to race and watch racing in safety.
Our track has been designed to comply with national racing standards and track widths featuring jumps, banked corners rollers and straights for overtaking.
During construction we discovered the site to be exceptionally well drained and well suited to an ‘Old-School’ dirt track from the Golden-Era of RC racing.
Instead of going down the astro-turf route we decided to embrace what we have and have created what we believe to be a classic track well suited to 2WD and 4WD buggies.
Currently there is no on-site charging, but we’re working on that…
We race every Sunday from 9.30 am -12.30 am weather permitting. Check out our ‘RACE DATES‘ page to find out what is going on at the track.
We hope you will visit, race and enjoy your time with us, and hopefully join.

The exact location of our track can be found via What3Words here – ///monkey.overnight.never

Our track is on a secure site with nearby parking and we have access to the school toilets in the main sports hall.
The school has two halls which we hope to use in the future for indoor racing in due course.

GETTING TO THE TRACK

Our track is on a secure site with nearby parking and we have access to the school toilets in the main sports hall. The school has two halls which we hope to use in the future for indoor racing in due course.

Getting to our track is pretty easy. We are located on the southern side of Barnstaple just off the A361. When you get to the Bishops Tawton (A377) roundabout turn to head North towards Barnstaple then turn left at the Park School Roundabout and drive down to the carpark. Please be aware that the carpark can get busy as it s frequently used for sporting events both at the school and at the local park.
You will have to unload and trolley your kit to the track going through the main school gates and then doubling back to access the track.

Toilets are in the entrance to the Sports Hall which you will have passed when you arrived.
