Getting young drivers racing is very important to us at TAWRCCC.
We all have to start somewhere and learning to race on a budget while still having fun can be a challenge.
To get young drivers started we are setting up their own one make race class using brushed FTX Tracers.
These entry level truggys come in a wide variety of colours and styles, can be bought for less than £80, are very durable and a lot of fun to drive.
Tracers come with the ability to reverse which in this class of racing TAWRCCC will allow during races, but races will not be marshalled for safety reasons.

To race at TAWRCCC, British Radio Car Association (BRCA) membership is required to cover driver insurance.
TAWRCCC is affiliated with the BRCA allowing non-BRCA drivers to race for up to three visits before BRCA membership is required.

Our timing gear uses Infra Red transponders (IRace or TAWRCCC).
These need to be mounted in the bodyshell with the IR transmitter visible either through a hole in the bodywork or clear panel.

Many of us seasoned racers have Tracers as they are a lot of fun, so if you need help getting set up and running we’re here to help.
